Your Inside Scoop to the Suits and Styles of the ESPN Monday Night Football Analyst Team

It was a Monday night for the books!  The Washington Redskins (favorite of Mark Rykken and home team for Rick Hindin) hosted but could not overtake the Chicago Bears in Game 3 of Monday Night Football.  There were some big moments (especially in the fourth quarter) but for us, the best action happened in the booth.  Britches Bespoke owners Mark Rykken and Rick Hindin were on hand and on the field to see Joe Tessitore, Booger McFarland and John Parry don their custom suits.  Here is what they wore:

Joe Tessitore – Play by Play Analyst

Joe’s game 3 suit was navy blue with a subtle self herringbone pattern in it.  Rather than putting Joe in a solid navy suit with a plain weave, the self herringbone adds interest and ups the style factor to the overall ensemble.  His shirt had a white ground with side by side 1/8″ navy and gray stripes and his tie was grey with a well spaced navy foulard pattern in it.  Tying it all together was a white pocket square with a grey border.  Once again, outfits for Joe are specifically combined for high contrast – a look that suits him best – and the white ground stripe shirt delivers against the dark navy suit.

Booger McFarland – Analyst

Booger’s suit was an Oxford grey glen plaid with a subtle brown window pane over-check.  His shirt was a solid pink broadcloth and his tie was dark navy with a tan and wine bold stripe.  His pocket square, light brown with a white border, harmonized with the window pane over-check.  What we love about this outfit for Booger is how the over-check in the suit and the pink shirt really flattered and complimented his skin tone.  In addition, the contrast and boldness of the navy and tan striped tie made this a strong style statement and it was possibly our favorite rig for him this entire season.

John Parry – Officiating and Rules Analyst

John’s suit was a medium grey sharkskin with a rich self herringbone blue shirt, accessorized with a navy tie with a gold diamond pattern and a white pocket square with a navy border.  When we met John, it was hard to miss his electric blue eyes – and so most of his outfits will contain shades of blue that will compliment this key feature.  In addition, his skin and hair color contrast very little (if any) and therefore, he will always look best in medium tone colors and outfits that do not produce much contrast.  Although the navy in his tie contrasts slightly with his outfit, it is offset by the gold repeat pattern in the tie which matches his hair color and his blue shirt highlights his eyes.
